Oak Creek Village Pool Rules & Information

In order to increase compliance and spread awareness, our office is requesting your assistance in informing residents in your community through your HOA newsletter or
your scheduled HOA meetings of the need to obtain a permit for operating an alarm system, residential or business, within unincorporated Harris County.

OAK CREAK VILLAGE POOL RULES AND INFORMATION

New pool passes are required each year for residents to use the pool facilities.  To obtain pool passes send your name, address, phone number and number of children and adults to ocvrecreation@yahoo.com.  Annual neighborhood dues must be current before pool passes are issued.


GUEST POLICY

The pool is for the use of Oak Creek Village residents and their guests. OCV pool passes are required to enter the pool area.

Guests must be accompanied by an Oak Creek Village resident and a guest fee of $1.00 per guest must be paid.

Each family is allowed to sign in 1 guest per pool pass. Groups of 8 or more must notify the Recreation Director 24 hours prior to pool use.


Groups of 10 or more must reserve the pool as a private party one week in advance, subject to applicable deposit and fees.


POOL AND CLUBHOUSE RENTAL:

1. Groups of 10 or more must reserve the pool area at least one week in advance in order to insure appropriate lifeguard coverage.

2. To reserve the pool area, a refundable deposit of $150 and a rental fee of $100 must be paid the Clubhouse Manager.  The deposit will be returned when the pool area has been checked after the event and found in good order. To rent the pool and the kitchen area of the clubhouse, the fee is $100.00. To rent both the pool and the clubhouse, the rental fee is $200.00 plus a $150.00 deposit FOR EACH. The deposits will be returned  when both areas have been checked after the event and found in good order. For other rental information contact the Clubhouse Manager. (See newsletter for number.)

3. For pool parties of 15 or more people, the following fees must be paid to the lifeguard company at the start of the event (rates subject to change per annual pool maintenance contract):

**The lifeguard company contracted by OCV must be used by residents for all events.

4. The pool will remain open to all OCV residents during the pool party unless you have reserved the pool during non-operational hours. For parties scheduled during non-operational hours, renter will pay for all guards.

Pool Rules

1. The pool is for the use of Oak Creek Village residents and their guests only. OCV pool passes are required to enter the pool area. Guests must be accompanied by an Oak Creek Village resident and a guest fee of $1.00 per guest must be paid.

2. Each Oak Creek Village family is allowed to sign in 1 guest per pool pass to a limit of 7 people (residents and guests). Groups of 8 or more must contact the Recreation Director at least 24 hours prior to pool use. Groups of 10 or more must reserve the pool as a private party, subject to applicable deposit and fees.

3. NO one may be in the pool during guard breaks.

4. No alcoholic beverages or smoking in pool enclosure.

5. All children under ten (10) years of age must be accompanied by a parent or responsible baby-sitter.

6. Lifeguards are employed to protect the safety of everyone in the pool area. They have the authority to remove anyone from the pool area disobeying the rules or endangering themselves or others. The lifeguard has the authority to suspend the offender up to five (5) days. Repeat violations may result in revocation of swimming privileges for the remainder of the summer.

7. During the hourly 10 minute rest period, ALL Everyone are to be totally out of the water.

8. No running, scuffling, wrestling, or horseplay is allowed in or around the pool.

9. Only plastic or paper cups are allowed in the pool area. Glasses and bottles are prohibited.

10. NO PETS are allowed in the pool area.

11. All persons entering the pool for the first time may be required to take a swim test before entering the deep end of the pool

12. Cocoa butter, baby oil, margarine, and similar materials are not soluble in the pool water. Please use commercial suntan preparations only.

13. Swim suits are required for all persons entering the pool.

14. Styrofoam objects such as floating rings are not allowed in the pool.

15. Anyone caught swimming after hours will be banned from the pool for the remainder of the summer.

16. If lightning is seen by the lifeguard, the pool will be closed for one hour from the time of the last sighting.
